This workshop was held on the premises of School of Engineering (ISEP) of Polytechnic of Porto, namely in GECAD \u2013 Research Group on Intelligent Engineering, and Computing for Advanced Innovation and Development.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Participants from UNESP, S\u00e3o Paulo joined the discussion and presented their ideas on the topics of the project. CENERGETIC is a FCT-funded project proposed by\u00a0GECAD\/ISEP\u00a0in cooperation with\u00a0UNESP\u00a0from Brazil that aims to address a relevant societal problem by\u00a0improving\u00a0the\u00a0integration\u00a0of\u00a0renewable energy resources\u00a0and electric vehicles (EVs) in smart grids. BeNeFiCE is a project, proposed by GECAD\/ISEP that aims to address a relevant societal problem by improving the integration of renewable energy resources, consumption flexibility, storage system, EVs, and flexible contracted power in collective residential buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The workshop was an opportunity to discuss some of the developments of both projects and get to know the opinion of experts working on related topics and issues.
