After four years of the project, the presentations and interaction\/discussions with the many participants, from different nationalities, that attended the event were very rich, arousing the interest of several participants.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>See more in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gecad.isep.ipp.pt\/public\/Agenda_GECAD_event_2022.pdf\">http:\/\/www.gecad.isep.ipp.pt\/public\/Agenda_GECAD_event_2022.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>COLORS published two paper on Energy Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>COLORS team had two paper, one titled \u201cClustering Distributed Energy Storage Units for the Aggregation of Optimized Local Solar Energy\u201d and the second titled \u201cApplication of Distinct Demand Response Program During the Ramping and Sustained Response Period\u201d accepted for publication, and will be published in Energy Reports, an open access journal, on\u00a0June 2022. It was hold between September 7<sup>th<\/sup> and 10<sup>th<\/sup> 2021, in Bari, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>During this conference,\u00a0COLORS team presented project results in a talk titled \u201cFinding the Trustworthy Consumers for Demand Response Events by Dealing With Uncertainty\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For more information please click\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/document\/9584667\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"rich-text editor-rich-text__editable block-editor-rich-text__editable is-selected\" role=\"textbox\" contenteditable=\"true\" aria-multiline=\"true\" aria-label=\"Write heading\u2026\">COLORS team published a paper on Energy Informatics journal on April 2021<\/h4>\n<p>COLORS had a paper, titled \u201cA methodology for energy key performance indicators analysis\u201d accepted and published during April 2021 in the Energy Informatics journal, which is an online interdisciplinary open access journal.<\/p>\n<p>For more information click\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/energyinformatics.springeropen.com\/articles\/10.1186\/s42162-021-00140-0\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"rich-text editor-rich-text__editable block-editor-rich-text__editable is-selected\" role=\"textbox\" contenteditable=\"true\" aria-multiline=\"true\" aria-label=\"Write heading\u2026\">COLORS team <span lang=\"EN-US\">wrote a chapter in the book \u201cArtificial Intelligence to Solve Pervasive Internet of Things Issues\u201d,\u00a0<\/span>which will be\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">published on December 1<sup>st<\/sup>, <\/span>2020<\/h4>\n<p>COLORS team collaborated with other researchers and specialists who are interested in the use and integration of IoT and Artificial Intelligence technologies to publish a book that discusses intelligent techniques for the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in Internet of Things.<\/p>\n<p>COLORS team were responsible for the Chapter 14, titled \u201cIntelligent Energy-Oriented Home\u201d, of the book named \u201cArtificial Intelligence to Solve Pervasive Internet of Things Issues\u201d 1<sup>st<\/sup> edition.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, please, click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elsevier.com\/books\/artificial-intelligence-to-solve-pervasive-internet-of-things-issues\/kaur\/978-0-12-818576-6\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><span lang=\"EN-US\">COLORS presented project results during ISGT-Europe<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The 2020 IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies Europe is a conference that, in its 2020 edition, had as theme the \u201cSmart Grids: key enablers of a green power system\u201d. It was a virtual hold between 26-28 October 2020.<\/p>\n<p>On October 26<sup>th<\/sup> COLORS team presented project results during a talk titled \u201cEnergy Consumption Management in Buildings in the Context of Voluntary and Mandatory Demand Response Programs in Smart Grids\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For more information please click <a href=\"https:\/\/ieee-isgt-europe.org\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Results from COLORS project were presented during EEM 2020<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n<p>The International Conference on the European Energy Market (EEM) is a well-established international conference in Europe concerning energy markets and had its 17<sup>th<\/sup> edition between September 16<sup>th<\/sup> and 18<sup>th<\/sup> \u00a0in a virtual conference room due to the SARS-CoV-2.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, C\u00e1tia Silva and D\u00e9bora de S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 presented COLORS results during two talks, the first one titled \u201cRating the Participation of Electricity Consumers in Demand Response Events\u201d and the second one titled \u201cKPI for Managing and Controlling a Demand Response System: A Testing Framework for End Users\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For more information please click <a href=\"https:\/\/eem20.eu\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>COLORS team presented project results during ICEER 2020<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The International Conference on Energy and Environment Research (ICEER) is a privileged space to discuss current issues related to Energy and Environment and had its 7<sup>th<\/sup> edition between September 14<sup>th<\/sup> and 17<sup>th<\/sup> in a virtual conference room due to the SARS-CoV-2.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, Pedro Faria presented COLORS results during a talk titled \u201cOnline Estimation and Use of Price Elasticity of Demand for Shifting Loads Through Real-Time Pricing\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For more information please click <a href=\"http:\/\/iceer.net\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>Free Online Training Course on Machine Learning, Agent-based Systems, and Optimization in Power and Energy<\/h4>\n<p>12:00 \u2013 18:15 (WEST)\u00a0 Friday 03-Jul-2020<\/p>\n<p>This online training course is divided in two parts: Machine Learning and Agent-based Systems in Power and Energy, and Evolutionary Optimization Methods and Applications in Power and Energy. The first part will be presented by Professor Zita Vale (Full Professor at ISEP\/P.Porto), Professor Carlos Ramos (Full Professor at ISEP\/P.Porto), Dr. Tiago Pinto (Invited Professor at ISEP\/P.Porto), and Dr. Pedro Faria (Invited Professor at ISEP\/P.Porto) considering their work developed under <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gecad.isep.ipp.pt\/MAS-Society\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MAS-Society<\/a> project. The second part will be presented by Dr. Jo\u00e3o Soares, Dr. Pedro Faria (Invited Professor at ISEP\/P.Porto), and Dr. Fernando Lezama, considering their work developed under <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gecad.isep.ipp.pt\/CENERGETIC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CENERGETIC<\/a>, and COLORS projects. It corresponds to 14 selected papers edited by Pedro Faria and Zita Vale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For more information click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/books\/pdfview\/book\/1976\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Paper published in <\/strong><strong>Sensors\u2019 Special Issue Architectures and Platforms for Smart and Sustainable Cities<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Paper titled \u201cConsumption Optimization in an Office Building Considering Flexible Loads and User Comfort\u201d was published in Sensors as part of the Special Issue Architectures and Platforms for Smart and Sustainable Cities byCOLORS team in January 2020.<\/p>\n<p>For more information click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/1424-8220\/20\/3\/593\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Results from COLORS project were presented during ISAP 2019<\/h4>\n<p>ISAP \u2013 \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.isap-power.org\/\">Intelligent System Applications to Power System<\/a> organized the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isap-power.org\/2019\/\">20th\u00a0ISAP Conference<\/a> in New Delhi, India, between December 10th\u00a0and December14th\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, Pedro Faria presented COLORS results during three talks, the first one titled \u201cDefining the Optimal Number of Demand Response Programs and Tariffs Using Clustering Methods\u201d on December 12<sup>th<\/sup>and the other two titled \u201cAir Conditioning Consumption Optimization Based on CO2 Concentration Level\u201d and \u201cCO2 Concentration Forecasting in an Office Using Artificial Neural Network\u201d, both on December 13<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>For more information please click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isap-power.org\/2019\/\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>COLORS presented project results during SEST 2019<\/h4>\n<p>The SEST is a conference that offers the opportunity to discuss various engineering challenges of smart energy system design and operation by focusing on advanced methods and practices for designing different components and their integration within the grid. The SEST 2019 took place in Porto, Portugal, between September 9<sup>th<\/sup> and 11<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>On September 9<sup>th<\/sup>, Pedro Faria presented COLORS results during two talks, the first one titled \u201cElasticity Parameter Definition and Analysis for Real &#8211; Time Pricing Remuneration Basing on Different Users Cases\u201d and the second one named \u201cOptimizing Lighting in an Office for Demand Response Participation Considering User Preferences\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For more information please click <a href=\"https:\/\/web.fe.up.pt\/~sest2019\/\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>COLORS presented project results during EPIA 2019<\/h4>\n<p>The EPIA Conference on Artificial Intelligence is a well-established European conference in the field of AI and had its 19<sup>th<\/sup> edition, EPIA 2019, in Vila Real between September 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and 6<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>COLORS results have been presented in a talk titled \u201cDemonstration of an Energy Consumption Forecasting System for Energy Management in Buildings\u201d on September 6<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>For more information please click <a href=\"https:\/\/epia2019.utad.pt\/\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Two papers presented by COLORS team project during the 16<sup>th<\/sup> DCAI in \u00c1vila, Spain<\/h4>\n<p>The International Conference on Distributed Computing and Artificial Intelligence is an annual forum that brings together ideas, projects and lessons associated with distributed computing and artificial intelligence, and their application in different areas.
