Estimation of Distribution Algorithm Designed to Solve the Energy Resource Management Problem Under Uncertainty\u201d accepted and published in Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, on class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MAS-Society presented project results during PAAMS 2021<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The 19th International Conference on Practical Applications of Agents and Multi-Agent Systems (PAAMS) is an international forum to present and discuss the latest scientific developments and their effective applications, to assess the impact of the approach, and to facilitate technology transfer, &nbsp;and had its 19<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;edition between October 6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;and 8<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;in Salamanca, Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the conference, MAS-Society team members presented results during two &nbsp;talks, one &nbsp;titled \u201cSemantic Services Catalog for Multiagent Systems Society\u201d and the second one titled \u201cSemantic Interoperability for Multiagent Simulation and Decision Support in Power Systems\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information please click&nbsp;<a \u201cClimatization and luminosity optimization of buildings using genetic algorithm, random forest, and regression models\u201d accepted and published in Energy Informatics, an open access journal, Journal<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Energy Strategy\nReviews is an open access international journal focusing on strategic\ndecision-making and vision-sharing related to society&#8217;s energy needs with a 7.9\nCite Score and a 6.425 Impact Factor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MAS-Society team had its paper accepted and it will be available in the Volume 36 from July 2021.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Paper presented by MAS-Society team members received a prize during EEM20<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The paper \u201cLearning Bidding Strategies in Local Electricity Markets using a Nature-Inspired Algorithm\u201d, written by MAS-Society team member Fernando Lezama, Joao Soares, Ricardo Faia, Pedro Faria and Zita Vale was presented during the 17th International Conference on the European Energy Market (EEM20) and received the Best paper award: 3rd prize from the EEM20 organization committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" Energy and Environment Research (ICEER2020) the paper titled \u201cUsing Diverse Sensors to Support the Load Forecasting in an Office Building to Support Energy Management\u201d, written by Daniel Ramos, Br\u00edgida Teixeira, Pedro Faria, Luis Gomes, Omid Abrishambaf and Zita Vale, received a Prize for the best oral presentation in the topic of \u201cSustainable Buildings\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MAS-Society team presented project results during ICEER 2020<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The International Conference on Energy and Environment Research (ICEER) is a privileged space to discuss current issues related to Energy and Environment and had its 7<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;edition between September 14<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;and 17<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;in a virtual conference room due to the SARS-CoV-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the conference, professor Zita Vale presented MAS-Society results during a talk titled \u201cUsing The 2019 AAMAS conference was hold in Montr\u00e9al, Canada, between May 13<sup>th<\/sup> and 17<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tiago Pinto presented MAS-Society results throughout three demonstration moments, on May 16<sup>th<\/sup>.
