PC2Phish

ISEP hosts workshop on phishing and malware detection

The workshop will take place on January 28, at 6:00 PM, under the theme “Proactive Detection of Phishing and Malware with Content and Context Awareness”. The event will be held in the Main Hall of the Polytechnic Institute of Engineering of Porto (ISEP).

Registration is free and mandatory here.

The PC2phish project focuses on a robust and scalable artificial intelligence–based tool for the detection of phishing and malware, combined with an awareness and training approach. The project is applied to the Portuguese Local Public Administration and results from a partnership between the Intelligent Engineering and Computing for Innovation and Development Research Group (GECAD) at ISEP and the Municipality of Valongo, aiming to combat phishing attacks targeting public sector employees. This contributes to a safer working environment and, consequently, to more secure and reliable public services.
