In this workshop, we address tools and techniques to address the challenges of energy management in intelligent buildings and local energy markets. Simulation, Multi-Agent systems, and several machine learning and deep learning techniques are used to support an intelligent and secure trading environment where distributed renewable energy sources are of the most importance. Results and case studies from SPET and BENEFICE projects are showcased.
